Image
Edward Weston's pictures can be described as a "second glance". You'd have to look at one of Weston's pictures carefully to understand what you're seeing. Westons photography in Still Life at least can be confusing but interesting to look at. Other styles of his photography are also interesting pictures to look at for a few minutes and try to decipher what the photos could be signifying. Monochrome photography is usually what Weston would use when taking his photos. From other points of view, on Weston's work, he was able to capture the true nature of his subjects. Giving a new perspective with his photos he could introduce a new modern type of photography.      Weston was a big influence in the modern era it took Weston like other famous photographers a while to figure out what he wanted to do with his pictures and what he wanted to achieve.
